Large-scale infrastructure projects inevitably impact the landscape. What defines a responsible contractor is not just how efficiently construction is delivered, but how carefully the land is restored afterwards.
JBS Contracting is currently part of reinstatement works across a 75km pipeline scheme, supporting the long-term recovery of land and habitats affected by the installation works. Our scope include the reinstatement of trees, hedging, and fencing, returned to their original specification and aligned with the project’s environmental and planning requirements.
Working across multiple locations along the route, our teams coordinate reinstatement activities to ensure continuity of land use for landowners and stakeholders. The works being delivered is in line with the agreed environmental management plans, ensuring that reinstatement is not just cosmetic, but sustainable and appropriate for the surrounding landscape.
Key outcomes of the project include:
Restoration of trees and hedgerows to original specification
Reinstatement of fencing to maintain land security and boundaries
Compliance with environmental conditions and project requirements
Delivery across a geographically extensive route without disruption to ongoing operations
This project reflects our capability to operate at scale while maintaining attention to detail at every location. Effective reinstatement is critical to protecting biodiversity, maintaining land value, and ensuring that infrastructure projects leave a positive long-term legacy.
